The Lockdown, Day 20: Thank You

To all the doctors, nurses, health workers, and staff saving lives and risking theirs, thank you.

To all the security personnel prioritizing our safety and not theirs, thank you.

To all the clerks, cashiers, staff, couriers, and all those going to work so we could stay home, thank you.

To all the frontliners in all the different fields, thank you.

To all the private institutions and individuals who have been so selfless and generous, thank you.

To all those who cannot give but prioritize helping their own families, thank you for keeping your loved ones safe.

To all those who do not have much to share but are staying home, thank you for preventing others from getting sick.

To all those who are not in the front lines but help disseminate important and truthful information from their homes, thank you for sharing your talent and your time for shedding light on the crisis.

To those who are in the comfort of their own homes but are continuously championing the employees, thank you for tirelessly ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of the workforce.

To the ones who've devoted their time for animal welfare and did not let this crisis stop them, thank you for keeping these wonderful creatures safe and well fed.

To those who don't want to add to the clutter of misinformation and irresponsible circulation of untruthful message— but want to spread smiles and humour instead, thank you for giving us the gift of laughter, the best medicine as they say.

We are all fighting different battles albeit marching towards the same war. It doesn't matter which battle we're in as long as we are doing our part. No effort is smaller nor bigger than the other. We are all in this together.
