Navigation of Employee Experience During a Pandemic

After four months of quarantine, businesses are slowly reopening, and people are starting to head outside cautiously. Some workers have been called back to the office while other workplaces have permanently shifted to a work from home set-up. Some are still coping with losses of varying degrees. Some are ready to bounce back, while some still need time to regain strength. The world has been divided by varying opinions on how to deal with COVID-19, and has been disrupted by other important issues and voices that need to be heard. We have all been affected by this pandemic tremendously and in a lot of different ways.

I tried to articulate my sentiments and insights regarding this matter, but please allow me to just quote Harvard Business Review because I really could not think of a better way to say it:

It's not easy to know where or how to begin normalising life after lockdown— not only because of the ambiguity of life during a crisis but because now isn't a time for a one-size-fits-all solution. I understand that compartmentalising thoughts and bringing together all the different insights from everyone in your organisation may be a difficult task. I thought of creating a navigational tool to help organise sentiments and ideas— one team at a time. This tool is not meant to be an exhaustive list, nor does it provide specific answers. It is built to help put structure into thoughts and assessments. It is a simple tool that is anchored on mindfulness through intentionality and purpose. It is focused on how to be more human towards each other within the three areas of employee experience (culture, technology, and environment).

I hope it helps!
